The President's Circle

The National Urban League established the President’s Circle in 2007 to acknowledge, honor and reward those dedicated philanthropists who share our vision of overcoming the stubborn inequities that weaken our country and diminish the lives of millions.  By joining the leadership of the President’s Circle, you will become a supporter of our most prestigious donor group.

The President’s Circle was founded by immediate NUL past presidents:  Hugh B. Price, John E. Jacob and Vernon E. Jordan.  Together with our current President and CEO, Marc H. Morial, these distinguished leaders pave the path for social justice and civil rights in the 21st Century.

With your support, we will intensify our fight for economic equality and empowerment.  Our economic empowerment agenda helps the most disadvantaged African Americans and other underserved communities to become economically self-reliant, own homes, grow businesses and build careers.   • Provide 10 high school students with academic, cultural and life skills education to help them attend and thrive in college.
  • Provide 60 entrepreneurs with extensive individual counseling and business skills training.

A gift of $25,000 could:

  • Provide 20 out-of-school, adjudicated youth with job training and employment opportunities; or
  • Offer 155 clients with individual housing counseling sessions to pave path to home ownership.
