BEEP
Every college student struggles to find the balance between classroom learning and real world experience. NUL’s Black Executive Exchange Program (BEEP) gives college students the best of both worlds—and they never have to leave their campus!
The program was established in 1969, and is a very unique partnership between NUL, corporate America, government, non-profits and other institutions.
Through this partnership, top African American executives go to colleges and universities as “visiting” professors. Visiting Professors provide students with the practical experience they need to complement their academic courses. Through that contact students are able to familiarize themselves with the demands and expectations of different industries.
This unique and innovative partnership helps college students understand the work world, its environment and
expectations, and how they can best prepare for it.
TAKE THE PLEDGE and connect with students that have participated in BEEP!
