Baltimore Cohort Graduates from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program

Cuties On Duty LLC is a customized apparel shop that specializes in bling tees, accessories, personalized items, body oils and body butters. It is a client of the Raymond V. Haysbert Entrepreneurship Center; the EC has provided business planning and financial management training to Owners Chrystal and Myra Boykins. Chrystal Boykins was accepted into the first Baltimore cohort of the 10KSB Program and subsequently graduated in 2017.

Chrystal mentioned that the reason they applied for the program was because they needed help with organizing and growing their business. Since graduating from the program, the Cuties have set up processes, policies and procedures, launched their website, increased sales, connected with other entrepreneurs and discovered new ways to improve business.

Ms. Boykins said, “This program has taught us so much! We have learned to work on our business instead of in our business. It has also taught us how important it is to be connected to like-minded people and that we always have to be innovative, inspired and empowered. We have to manage by the numbers and not by our emotions. This program was Awesome!”
